APW - Elgin, 15J with rare Independent Order of Odd Fellows dial, 16S, heavy 14K gold OF original Dubois case, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial with dramatic fraternal imagery highlighted by the All-Seeing Eye at 12 above the letters "F L T" within chain links standing for "Friendship, Love and Truth," SW-SS, gilt mvt, s#3252965. Gross weight of assembled watch 67.2 dwt (104.5 g). This scarce dial is very attractive with its colorful imagery highlighted in a number of areas by gold foil.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with dulled and darkened tone; dial with faint hl at 12:30, micro-fine scratch at 5; fine hands; case shows light wear, two prominent dents to band at 4, small dent to band at 9:30; bow pivots freely, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
